david,
Just had a quick look at the new site and while it does look a good bit different, its definitely something you would get used to quickly enough. well done on the move
However, ive a quite question.
I note the following under the comments section
Comments posted by non-registered members will be subject to editor approval before appearing.
First off, is it only the editors themselves that are registered and therefore is it now a case that everyones posts must first be scrutinised before being accepted ?
Just post a comment and you will be asked for a few details and then that will be it! I have no intention of scrutinising every comment but because we are just bedding in, it might seem that way for a few days. Trust me when I say I really want good accessibility for all readers and writers !ut
When posting, I was asked for the user name as usual and then the email address and url were optional.
I tried posting with just the user name and it said comment had to be approved by an editor. I also tried posting with the username and email address and got the same...
Im a little confused ( and I even work in IT :) ) am i registered as soon as I make my first post and is the message that appears therefore misleading
You and me! Let me work this through - my aim is to have everyone registered once and then that should be it. It may be I need to change a setting somewhere - but we'll get there. Thx for the feedback - most helpful.
Well - I have tried leaving a comment over at the new place too. Of course I want to be a registered user. Old Grizzly Mama (over here in the United States of America) wants to have her voice heard, whether the leftys want to hear it or not!
I knew that moving to our new home was going to be very traumatic for the entire family, so I wanted to find a way to give everyone our new address. I searched the internet and found several good sites that offered real cute moving cards that could be personalized, http://www.cardsshoppe.com/Moving_Announcements/Moving_Announcements_Cards-9-1.htm,
http://www.express-invitations.com/moving_announcements/Moving-Announcements-Housewarming-Invitations.php,
http://www.cardspersonalized.com/Moving-Announcements-Housewarming-Invitations-11.htm and
http://www.announcements-shoppe.com/Moving-Announcements-Moving-Cards/productsList-11-1.htm. I also wanted to order invitations for our housewarming party so all these sites had excellent ones. I ended up buying my moving announcements cards and housewarming invitations from http://www.CardsShoppe.com and was very pleased. Both personalized cards turned out great!
Just discovered a complete list of all marked down products at Amazon, sorted by category
and % off, ranging from 50% off to 90% off (thanks Sonja for the effort).
Actually I never thought Amazon would have articles with 90% off, but only in the category
Electronics there are more than 3000 of them - look for yourself, the list is on
http://bargains-hunter.blogspot.com/2008/02/looking-for-marked-down-prices.html
or on http://digg.com/gadgets/Actually_I_never_thought_Amazon_would_have_articles_with_90
(which is a blog of a woman who specializes in finding good deals at Amazon, like Britain’s "Jeanie").

David: I feel like Moses having a glimpse to see the Promised Land but not getting there with you. Same situation as Kloot's first attempt.
