The Daily Cameron Telegraph reports that "Dave" has called on voters in next month's English local elections to support any party other than the "far-Right" (ie Leftist) British National Party.
"I hope nobody votes for the BNP. I would rather people voted for any other party,"
The "other parties" that Dave would prefer your vote went to include;
Communist Party of Britain
Muslim Party
Legalise Cannabis Alliance
Socialist Workers Party
Socialist Appeal
Revolutionary Communist Group
..to name but a few. Makes you proud to be a conservative, eh? Good old Dave. Listen, the BNP may be a bunch of isolationist left of centre racists, but each of the above parties is just as harmful to our British way of life.
after the cameron has debased himself, the party of the people will be laughing all the way to the bank.
:> - lets hope for a brighter tomorrow

The other parties lust include the National Front, which still fields some candidates.
Poor choice of words, Dave?

In fairness this was probably an off the cuff remark and on the national stage the BNP is the first party that come to mind as the bad guys. I mean I don't know that we're that aware of the existence of any of the others. I also don't think that there is much of a danger that these parties will ever get significant support whereas the BNP might.

Oh I don't know, we could all have a high old time if we voted for the 'Legalise cannabis Alliance'. The country might go to pot, but would we care!

What Cameron, and Blair too, seem to have forgotten is that the call used to be for the electorate to vote for the Party whose policies and ethics appealed to that voter.
As the Labour bunch have ditched all their policies, and have forgotten how to spell 'ethics', never mind know what the word means; and 'GreenBicycleBoy' Cameron's lot haven't worked out what they believe in yet, is it any wonder that the voters seem to be dissappearing faster than Cherie's hair gets re-done!

The BNP, are not just an anti immigration party, they are a racist party, anti immigration is fine, but hate is not, that is why Cameron is perfectly right.
He seems to be becoming the perfect politican, may be i am conservative, after all

'if only we could deal with the plank in our own eye, instead of worrying about the speck of dust in the english mans.' If i get this right, u are refering to Irelands mass Immigration, I'm delighted to see it.
The BNP r scum, its as simple as that, they r the modern day nazi party, anyone who supports them is as bad as a nazi sympathizer.
If u want to vote ant immigration, go UKIP, there bad but are not nazis
'go ahead orga !( is you really an orlaigh?)' What????

Ogra
I think jaun is asking if you are a woman. I must admit when I first saw your username here, i thought you were female (don't know why but perhaps I was thinking of the BBc woman Orla Guerin), then when we had the exchange about father Ted, i relaised you were male, but then again you might not be , and neither might I. I suppose in cyberspace we all have no sex... or perhaps I should rephrase that to gender :)
Posted by: Colm | April 24, 2006 at 02:40 PM
Aileen, we seem to agree more than we disagree anyway. The BNP r a very serious threat, there leaders should be locked up for hate crimes, which they have committed. If they won't be dealt with, severly, now, it will be alot harder in the future
Posted by: Ogra | April 24, 2006 at 02:42 PM
I doubt Cameron has persuaded many people who were thinking of voting BNP not to. All he's doing is showing the contempt that he holds for those who don't have the same concerns as meterosexual liberals like himself.
It really is irrelevant that the BNP is odious. It annoys me that the debate is always switched back to the nature of the BNP. I don't think those giving their votes to the BNP care very much. What they care about is that a whole legion of their concerns have been deemed unmentionable through political correctness. If it takes voting BNP to bring attention to this, they will do so.
The likes of Yasmin Alibhai Brown in the Independent want to censor all politically incorrect thoughts. No wonder she wishes to slander all BNP voters as simply racist thugs. It's much easier than dealing with the issues that have led them there.
I also note that she doesn't show such "zero tolerance" towards the aggrieved Muslim community's actions. She is nothing but a racist bully herself.

John,
Well said.

Excellent points, John. Completely agree!

Two, things that conservatives all over the world will bring into every debate, 'Political Correctness. and Muslims.
Muslims make up bout 2% of Britains population, how r they such a big threat?
Muslim Nazis should be and have been dealt with ie. the Hook Guy.
The BNP r the same as Bin Laden and his ilk, they r our extremists, an should be dealt with like we deal with Bin Ladens gang
It dosen't matter
Posted by: Ogra | April 24, 2006 at 03:10 PM
2% of the population in GB and around 99% of the terrorists - funny old world, eh?
Posted by: David Vance | April 24, 2006 at 03:11 PM
ignore the 'It dosen't matter' line
