How fascinating that they've decided to ignore the BIG problems you are facing! That's it - yeah. Arrest the jaywalkers and the litterers! Yeah. Good idea.

Maybe it makes them feel that they are actually DOING something. Maybe they are aware that they are completely unable to deal with, oh..., say - terrorists for example. Or unassimilated immigrants who like to attack the white people for example... Or muslim rapists who target non-muslim women for example...
