Surreal. Facilities in a prison are being specially built so Muslim inmates do not have to face Mecca while sitting on the toilet. The Home Office said two new toilet blocks are being installed as part of a refurbishment at Brixton jail in south London. Muslim leaders had told prison bosses it was unacceptable for Muslim inmates to face Mecca while using the toilet.

Sorry, but that's just a load of crap. They break the law, they go to jail, they get punished. Pandering to the tender sensitivities of the ROP propagandists is just so dhimmi.

Let's all just pander to every whim of the ROP. These people are in jail for God's sake. Next thing prision authorities will be advised, or should that be dictated, exatly what grub should be served up and how it should be cooked etc.

In my opinion prision is already a holday camp as it is given all the "rights" nonsense people have to put up with.

Well Monica , Orthodox Judaism is just as nit-picking . Frankly I think all this tiny attention to archaic religous rules (regardless of which faith) is ludicrous and any intelligent human would not waste their time observing such pernickity nonsense.
