When I articulate the Unionist position (albeit from a mainland UK perspective) I use a mixture of sarcasm and vitriol. I enjoy that style of writing as a means to stimulate debate, and it compliments rather than substitutes my true political opinions. That said, every now and then there comes a piece of pro-Union brilliance that articulates Unionism far better than I ever could. This latest submission from the Cadogan Group, its cental theme a subject on today's Talkback programme, is the reality of the Unionist position at its best - with no linguistic baggage to disguise what the British of Northern Ireland think and know. Enjoy!
