Andrew, I never thought you would be guilty of political correctness, but you are here. Next thing we won't be allowed to use the phrase "pigs might fly" in case some Jews would find it offensive!

The poster is firmly in the British tradition of policical knockabout. Howard and Letwin are being mocked for their fantasy economics, not their jewishness.

Can't agree on this one. I'm all for taking the proverbial as it were (my thread on regional identities proves that). In this case, a poster insulting to the Jewish people as a whole is permissible in a way that it would certainly not have been had Mr Howard worshipped Allah.

This may just be a rather infantile poster aimed at simpletons, but no be anti-semitic. Although I am inclined to wonder when you bear in mind Mike O'Brien's thinly veiled anti-semitic comments in an article for a muslim publication in Britain.
