GUARDIAN CALLS FOR US PRESIDENTIAL ASSASSINATION.

I didn't want to let this pass without comment. In an article in the UK Guardian, Charlie Brooker calls for the assassination of President Bush. Here is the quote that raised eyebrows;

"On November 2, the entire civilised world will be praying, praying Bush loses. And Sod's law dictates he'll probably win, thereby disproving the existence of God once and for all. The world will endure four more years of idiocy, arrogance and unwarranted bloodshed, with no benevolent deity to watch over and save us. John Wilkes Booth, Lee Harvey Oswald, John Hinckley Jr - where are you now that we need you?"

Can you imagine the howls of outrage if the Daily Telegraph had run a similar story during the Clinton years? Yet our hypocritical leftist friends stay mute on this. Except, of course the Guardian. This is now what they to say on the subject;

He deplores violence of any kind."
